At the American Society of Clinical Oncology conference, attendees had a chance to hear about cancer cells — being destroyed, that is. “The Most Beautiful Sound” campaign created by Grey Health for the ASCO organization and its Conquer Cancer Foundation was set up as a booth with headphones available for people to listen to the cellular death of cancer cells.
The work came out of a partnership with researchers at Harvard Medical School who captured the vibrations of the cell death and transcribed it into sounds. The idea behind the campaign was to give people going through cancer treatment a sound to give them hope.
